Ibn Rajab said: "As for the recommendation to increase remembrance (dhikr) during these days, it is indicated by the words of Allah Almighty: {And mention the name of Allah on known days}. The known days are the days of the ten (of Dhu’l-Hijjah) according to the majority of scholars." قال ابن رجب : "وأما استحباب الإكثار من الذكر فيها فقد دل عليه قول الله عز وجل: {ويذكروا اسم الله في أيام معلومات}. فإن الأيامَ المعلومات هي أيامُ العشر عند جمهور العلماء." [لطائف المعارف (524)]

قَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ: ‏خَرَجْتُ مَعَهُ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ، فَقَالَ: ‏”إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا نَبْدَأُ بِهِ فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا غَضُّ الْبَصَرِ” Some of Sufyan al-Thawri’s companions said: “I went out with him on the day of Eid, and he said: ‘The first thing we begin with on this day of ours is lowering the gaze.’” ‏(التبصرة لابن الجوزي، ص: [106])

15 - Mansur bin Al-Walid informed me that Ja’far bin Muhammad narrated to them, saying: I heard Abu Abdullah (Imam Ahmad) say: “Everything of a woman is ’awrah, even her fingernail.” [أحكام النساء عن الإمام أحمد]

يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ وَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الظَّالِمِينَ وَيَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ Allah makes the believers steadfast with the firm Word ˹of faith˺ in this worldly life and the Hereafter. And Allah leaves the wrongdoers to stray. For Allah does what He wills. أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ Have you not seen those ˹disbelievers˺ who meet Allah’s favours with ingratitude and lead their own people to their doom? جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا وَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ In Hell they will burn. What an evil place for settlement.

If a person eats and drinks with the intention of fasting, they have made an intention. Ibn Taymiyyah (r) mentioned that if he eats at night like how he'd eat to fast then he has intended. Reference: al-Iqna' and Kash-shaf al-Qina

Intend to fast every night in Ramadan In the Hanbali Madhab, it's a condition for one to intend to fast for every day of Ramadan. This is because every day is a seperate act of worship. Intention must be made at night before Fajr & can be at any part of the night. This means: having one intention at the beginning of Ramadan to fast the entire month doesn't suffice. هُوَ اللهُ كَمَّلَ أَوْصَافَهُ وَسَمَّاهُ بَيْنَ الوَرَى أَحْمَدَا He is Allah, who perfected his qualities, And named him Ahmad among creation. فَمَا مُنْقِصٌ فَضْلَهُ جَاحِدٌ وَمَنْ يَحْجُبُ النُّوْرَ إِنْ مَا بَدَا So no denier can diminish his virtue, And who can conceal the light once it has appeared?

وقال الحسين بن أحمد الشيرازي: لما مات أحمد بن منصور الحافظ، جاء إلى أبي رجل، فقال: رأيته في النوم وهو في المحراب واقف بجامع شيراز، وعليه حلة، وعلى رأسه تاج مكلل بالجوهر، فقلت: ما فعل الله بك؟ ‏قال: غفر لي وأكرمني. ‏قلت: بماذا؟ ‏قال: بكثرة صلاتي على رسول الله ﷺ Al-Hussain bin Ahmad Al-Shirazi said: When Ahmad bin Mansūr Al-Hafith died, a man came to my father and said: I saw him (Ahmad bin Mansūr) in a dream while he was in the mihrab standing in the mosque of Shiraz, wearing a robe, and on his head was a crown decorated with jewels, so I said: What did Allāh do with you? He said: He forgave me and honoured me. I said: Due to what? He said: Due to the excessive blessings I sent upon the Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ.
