🇺🇦🤜🇷🇺 Yesterday, 15 August, the enemy hit the Aviakor aircraft plant and the Progress Rocket and Space Centre in Samara with its FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles. The governor and mayor of Samara reported a missile strike on an industrial facility, saying that emergency services are working at the scene. The Russian Ministry of Defence reported the interception of 17 FF-5 Flamingo cruise missiles and 1,328 drones in a single day. We cannot recall the enemy ever launching more than six Flamingo missiles in a single salvo. Either the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to stockpile around two dozen missiles, taking into account the pair that reached Samara, and Russian air defences repelled the largest Flamingo cruise-missile raid to date, or someone simply “shot down” a number of virtual missiles for the reports. #info #Cruise_Missile #FP5 #SAM

🇷🇺🤜🇺🇦 Russian assault units are gradually regaining control over areas of Kupyansk to roughly the positions held as of November 2025, when the capture of the city was officially announced, after which the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a counteroffensive and retook most of the incompletely occupied city. It cannot be ruled out that, by the upcoming anniversary of the previous successful capture, the city will once again be declared liberated. Interceptor drones, which recently revolutionised the cheap and effective interception of piston-powered kamikaze drones, are no longer capable of dealing with jet-powered UAVs.
