የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ  አውደ ጥናት ተካሄደ የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሕክምና ጤና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ የሕክምና ላቦራቶሪ ሳይንስ ትምህርት እና የአገልግሎት ዳይሬክቶሬት የዶክትሬት ዲግሪ በላብራቶሪ ሕክምና የውስጥ ስርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ ነሐሴ 11/2018 ዓ.ም በኮሌጁ የመሰብሰቢያ አዳራሽ ጥሪ የተደረገላቸው ባለደርሻ አካላት በተገኙበት አውደ ጥናት አካሂዷል፡፡ በአውደ-ጥናቱ መግቢያ ላይ የሕክምና ላቦራቶሪ ሳይንስ ትምህርት እና አገልግሎት ትምህርት ክፍል መምህር እና ተመራማሪ የሆኑት  ዶ/ር ዮሐንስ ዘነበ ለአውደ ጥናት ተሳታፊዎች የተዘጋጀውን ስርዓተ- ትምህርት በተመለከተ አጭር ገለፃ አድርገዋል፡፡ ካሁን በፊት  ያሉ ስርዓተ ትምህርቶች በነጠላ የተቀመጡ ሲሆኑ ይህ ስርዓተ ትምህርት ግን  ስድስት ትራኮችን አካቷል። እነዚህም (Immunology, Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Parasitology, Entomology) ሲሆኑ  ሐብትን በአግባቡ ለመጠቀም፤ ችግር ፈቺ  እና ፕሮግራሙ ቀጣይነት እንዲኖረው  ያስችላል። በመጨረሻም በቀረበው አዲስ ስርዓተ ትምህርት ላይ  ለስርዓተ ትምህርቱ መሻሻል ግብዓት ይሆናሉ ተብሎ የሚታሰቡ ሐሳቦችን ከአውደ ጥናቱ ተሳታፊዎች ቀርበዋል።

The College Signs MOU with People to People to Launch AI in Health Program Bahir Dar, Ethiopia — August 2026 — College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Bahir Dar University (CMHS-BDU) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with People to People (P2P), a global diaspora-led organization, to launch an artificial intelligence in health program, with the long-term goal of potential development. AI is increasingly seen as a transformative tool across healthcare, health education, and health research. In clinical care, AI-powered systems can support faster and more accurate diagnosis, predict disease risk, and help clinicians manage patient care in settings with limited specialist access. In health education, AI can personalize learning, expand access to training materials, and equip the next generation of health professionals with skills to work alongside intelligent systems. In research, AI can accelerate data analysis, uncover patterns in large health datasets, and support evidence-based public health decision-making — areas of particular value for an institution seeking to strengthen its research and clinical capacity. The partnership will roll out in phases, starting with equipping the college community with the knowledge and skills of AI in healthcare, followed by an advanced program, and ultimately a full academic functional unit. P2P will contribute diaspora expertise, funding support, and technical resources, while CMHS-BDU will provide institutional hosting and staffing. The agreement was signed by Dr. Bekalu Wubshet, Chief Executive Director of CMHS-BDU and Daniel Awraris, Chief Operations Officer, P2P. The MOU takes effect immediately and runs for an initial term of five years, renewable by mutual agreement.
