In an exceptional reproductive outcome, an artificially inseminated local ewe, belonging to a participant farmer of the community-based sheep breeding program (CBBP) in Sola kebele, Dedo woreda of Jimma zone, has given birth to quadruplets—a phenomenon rarely observed in ovine parturition. This event was documented within the framework of the joint CBBP initiative, collaboratively implemented by Jimma University and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA). The farmer, as a direct beneficiary and active program participant, together with the institutional partners, continues to contribute to the ongoing genetic improvement of the indigenous flock under this cooperative breeding scheme. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1DEkyFAcZy/
